RBA™

Results Based Accountability™ (RBA™) - sometimes called Outcome Based Accountability - is a common sense approach to using outcome based thinking to help improve the well being of populations and the performance of services. RBA™ was developed by Mark Friedman and is set out in full in his book Trying Hard Is Not Good Enough.

In Wales and the UK RBA™ is being used by a growing number of public and voluntary organisations and partnerships to help inform things like partnership planning, commissioning and performance management.

The PSU supports a range of statutory and voluntary stakeholders to explore and implement RBA™. Support includes:

  • Hosting presentations and workshops by Mark Friedman.
  • Facilitating stakeholder organisations and partnerships to use RBA™.
  • Training workshops including two-day Training for Trainers.
  • Awareness raising presentations.

Please contact Richard Morton on richard.morton@wlga.gov.uk or 07867553757 if you would like to discuss how the PSU can support you.
